Wolf Hall, or Wulfhall, was a medieval manor house and home of the Seymour family. It is thought to have been a timber-framed, double courtyard house with a tower, long gallery and chapel, but it fell into disrepair after the family abandoned it for nearby Tottenham Park around 1571.

Jane Seymour was probably born there in c.1508/09 and Henry VIII and Queen Anne Boleyn visited it on their summer progress of 1535. It is now better known as being the title of Hilary Mantel’s Man Booker prize-winning book.
